Tensorgrip P307 and Tensorgrip P313 (Air Assisted Application)

Tensorgrip P307 and P313 adhesives although very similar, have different attributes which are important to know so the user can get the most out of them.

Tensorgrip P307 is a “do it all” CA compliant adhesive with a long open working time and high heat resistance, since it’s pressurized, dispensing is easy and simple. There is hardly any overspray which translates to  close to 90% of the glue landing on the substrates. User can easily switch nozzle tips between 40º, 65° and 95° spraying tip angles.

Tensorgrip P313 provides a mist spray pattern, this is important where “telegraphing” within the substrates is an issue. It has a fast set up which means “green strength” is achieved within minutes. “Green strength” is the term used when attempting to pull apart the bonded substrates within a time period. Tensorgrip P307 and P313 can also be applied using an air assisted spray gun, such as Binks SV100.  A spray gun allows the user to have better control of the spray pattern and volume being dispensed.

Over-spray is also minimal when compared to other dispensing systems.

In this demonstration both Tensorgrip P307 and Tensorgrip P313 “green strength” was very good after a few minutes.
